Privacy policy

This site is operated by Jeremy Soares, doing business as Modulaire Québec. Modulaire Quebec handles your personal information in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Quebec). This page describes what we collect, why, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights.

Privacy officer

Person in charge of the protection of personal information: Jeremy Soares — reachable via the contact page.

Information collected

We collect personal information through the following channels:

  • Quote request form: name, email, phone, town and region, project type, timeline, budget and the message you write.
  • Contact form: name, email and the content of your message.
  • Newsletter: email address.
  • Technical data: site audience measurement and partner-card click tracking (partner clicked, page and language — with no personal identifier).

Purposes

We use this information to: respond to your request; forward your quote request to partner builders so they can provide you with a quote — a referral for which Modulaire Quebec may receive compensation (see our disclosure page); send you the newsletter if you subscribe; and produce audience statistics.

We only forward your information to partner builders when you request a quote, with your consent, and never for any other purpose.

Sharing with third parties

Your information may be shared with: partner builders (the list appears on the disclosure page), when you request a quote; and with our technical service providers (hosting, email delivery, automation) acting on our behalf.

Transfers outside Quebec

Some of our technical providers are located outside Quebec, notably in the United States (email delivery via Resend, automation via Zapier). Personal information may be transmitted to or stored there, with appropriate contractual protections.

Retention

Quote and contact requests are kept for a maximum of 12 months after transmission or handling, then destroyed or anonymized. Your newsletter email address is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may request access to your information, its correction, its deletion where the law allows, and withdraw your consent at any time. If partner builders have already received your request, we will inform them of your withdrawal or tell you how to reach them directly. To exercise these rights, write to the privacy officer via the contact page. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Cookies and tracking technologies

The site uses a functional cookie for your language preference. When you click a partner card, a technical signal is sent to us indicating the partner, the page and the language — with no personal identifier. Audience measurement is performed without advertising cookies or individual profiling. If we add an analytics tool that uses cookies, this page will be updated and your consent will be requested first.
